Life Transitions

We all experience periods of change in our lives whether it is leaving home, changing jobs, moving to a new country, a relationship ending or aging. These are all significant life changes. The uncertainty of what the change will look like and how we will cope, can bring feeling of joy but also feelings of loss, fear, loneliness, uncertainly and loss of identity, to name just a few.

One key change for women is entering perimenopause, on average in their mid-40s, and then entering the menopause.

It is a fact that all women go through the menopause. Yet, it is often still a subject of embarrassment and myths. There are a huge range of symptoms including, anxiety, joint pain and depression that can be part of the menopause, It’s not just about hot flushes.

Therapy can help you explore your feelings when change is occurring in your life. You will feel less alone with someone to talk to and help you to move to the next phase of your life.
